Just how much "stuff" does it take to build a new building???

And the answer is "a BUNCH"! As you clearly have seen from trying to negotiate our parking lot on Sundays!

Please patient and courteous when parking!

Two sightly different views of the entrance face. The facade is filling in quickly.

In the lower level, there will be 22 new classrooms for middle and senior high youth. Those classrooms are shown inside the red rectangle in the diagram above. In the picture to the right of the diagram the door frames for these classrooms have been mounted, and the floor tracks for the walls have been laid. Vertical studs and sheetrock are not far behind!

Last week you saw a view of the scaffolds in the worship space. Erection of the substructure of this scaffold is complete.

Now on top of the scaffold the workers are laying a temporary wood floor. This will give them a surface for more scaffolds to install the wood ceiling.

Half of the scaffold has the wood floor; half still needs to be covered.

Work continues on all sides and all levels on the building exterior. Surfaces are getting their finished coverings.

And one exciting development on the exterior is the addition of brick! The pictures below are on the south side of the building facing the current sanctuary. You now should be able to see the brick above the green fence if you look. Isn't this starting to look really elegant?

And if you have not noticed this week, the steeple base is now "naked"----the scaffolding around it is GONE!

 And guess what comes next.......

 Steeple Schedule (contingent upon weather!)
