I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord!"   (Psalm 122:1)

We are so close. So close.

All of this began in 1994 with the formation of a Long Range Planning Committee.
The first building step was the Ministry Center in 2002.
Then we had some litigation and national economy issues that delayed.

But now we are so close.

We indeed will go to the house of the Lord!

For about 15 months, I have had the privilege of being your "eyes" for the new building. I and my camera have been lucky enough to have full access any time to the construction site from the beginning. It is a privilege that I have enjoyed immensely.

Next week we hope to receive a temporary certificate of occupancy. That certificate means that we finally can allow "the public" into the new building and use the facility. Say a prayer during the next several days that all of the various inspections go well. And if they do, then we all will gather on Sunday, April 28, in praise and celebration.

Since the new building is virtually complete, this will be the last construction blog. If you want to see anything else, you will just have to come see it in person!

And by the way, it's phenomenal!
